In 2017, we began teaching mindfulness, emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy & self-awareness to children via workshops & one to one sessions.
Due to the success of the approach we launched the REST EASY Method in April 2018 & began rolling it out to schools across Cheshire, the Wirral & Shropshire.
The REST EASY Method is a self-help tool that delivers sustainable, quick results for long term mental wellbeing.
Using the REST EASY acronym of Recognise Emotions, Stop Think, Engage Awareness & Support Yourself, we offer a new language around mental health. Students, staff & parents receive tools, skills & awareness of how to manage difficult emotions & thoughts.
The method provides the basis for a universal approach to wellbeing by giving students & staff a platform to discuss feelings in a calm way. It encourages a culture of belonging, emotional safety & empathy within the school or business setting.
Our Mission
Our mission is to prevent mental illness & promote mental health by educating individuals in the REST EASY Method. We believe that children, young people, parents, carers & staff have a right to wellbeing education & feel it's our purpose to provide the method as a way of achieving that. We’re working with local schools & businesses to roll out the method by training their staff. Our goal is for people to have the tools to support themselves through difficult times, therefore preventing mental suffering in the future.
